How LoopFella Handles Information
LoopFella uses account, search, map, payment, and technical information to operate the service, protect users, and improve search results.
Our Promise
Effective Date: May 3, 2026
Loopfella ("we," "us," "our") does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information for money. We also do not "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
We use service and usage data only to operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve LoopFella.
Information We Collect
We collect information to run LoopFella safely and effectively:
- Account and contact info: name, email, phone, and business details you provide.
- Transactional info: purchases and subscriptions processed by our payment processor.
- Location and map inputs: addresses, coordinates, selected materials, and related search inputs used to provide search, mapping, and routing results.
- Usage and search activity: searches performed, materials searched, approximate search area, pages visited, timestamps, result counts, and feature usage so we can improve LoopFella and monitor reliability.
- Technical data: device and browser info, pages viewed, diagnostics, and technical identifiers used for reliability, security, abuse prevention, and analytics. For search analytics, we use hashed identifiers instead of storing raw IP addresses in the search analytics table.
- Communications: messages you send to us, including support requests.
How We Use Information
- Provide and improve LoopFella features, including search, maps, routing, memberships, and account tools.
- Understand which searches and features are useful, diagnose problems, and improve search results.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions.
- Communicate with you about your account and support.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Disclosure of Information
We disclose personal information only as needed to operate the service and never for selling or advertising sharing:
- Service providers and processors: Vendors who perform services for us and may only use the data to provide those services.
- Payments: Stripe processes payments; card details go directly to Stripe and we do not store full card numbers. See Stripe's Terms and Privacy Policy.
- Maps, geocoding, and routing: Our own OSM, OSRM, and Nominatim servers; if needed, Mapbox may be used as a fallback to return results.
- Email delivery: Our mail server or an email delivery provider to send messages you request or messages that relate to your account.
- Compliance, safety, and legal: If required by law or to protect users, our services, or others.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or similar event, subject to this Policy.
- Aggregated or de-identified data: Information that cannot reasonably identify you.

Your Rights and Choices

- Choose what information you provide. Some features require certain data to function.
Retention, Security, and Children
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to operate LoopFella, comply with laws, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including transport encryption and access controls. No method is 100% secure, but we strive to protect your data with industry-standard measures.
